My Story
Suzanne did not grow up being an artist, in fact she was told by those close to her that she was a terrible artist. That she couldn't draw, and maybe if she took some classes she might be able to some day. At the age of 30, Suzanne had a massive life saving surgery that required her to be on bed rest for 3 weeks, and during this time, she watched every episode of Bob Ross's Joy of Painting that was available. She had always wanted to paint, but let those negative voices from her childhood stop her, until then. After she was healed she started to paint as often as she could, using cheap paints and canvases until she could hone her techniques. Its been 8 years, and she hasn't put down the brush, and tells everyone she meets that art isn't for anyone else, its for you. Don't let their voices stifle your art.
